The Team

megan mescher-cox, D.O.

Dr. Cox earned her Medical Degree from Kansas City University.  She completed her residency training at Loma Linda University Medical Center and returned home to Camarillo, practicing medicine with her father. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. Her passion is in helping people overcome their chronic disease to live their happiest, most fulfilling life.

Dr.  Cox chose to purse primary care for the opportunity to build long lasting relationships with her patients. She describes her practice style as  "health coaching" and thinks of herself as a partner with her patients in their health car. She is especially interested in transitioning our health care system from "sick care" to "well care" and works with patients to treat the cause of disease to truly produce health~which prevents, treats and even can reverse many chronic conditions.

Walk With A Doc

Dr. Cox established the Ventura County Chapter of Walk With A Doc and can be found at the Ventura Pier on the first Saturday of every month from 9-10 am.  This is a really great start to the weekend as we meet under the pier and walk the coast.
